Newly elected Veep Yadav sworn in (With photos)

KATHMANDU: Newly elected Vice President Ram Sahaya Yadav took that oath of office and secrecy on Monday.

President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Yadav amidst a function at Sheetal Niwas this morning.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsena, Acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki, former President Ram Baran Yadav, outgoing Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, former Prime Ministers Sher Bahadur Deuba, Madhav Nepal and former Chairman of Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi among others were present in the programme.

Yadav was elected as the Vice President by securing 30, 328 votes.
