RPP decides not to take part in Presidential Election (video)

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has decided not to take part in the Presidential Election.

A meeting of the RPP’s work execution committee was held on Wednesday at the party’s office in Dhumbarahi.

During the meeting, it was decided that the party will remain neutral in the Presidential Election, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday.

Chief whip and Spokesperson Gyanendra Shahi of the party said that his party will not participate in the election.

Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel and CPN (UML) Vice-Chairperson Subas Chandra Nembang are contesting in the election.
