Gyanendra Shahi appointed RPP Chief Whip

KATHMANDU: Gyanendra Shahi has been appointed as the Chief Whip of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party.

Party Chairman and Parliamentary Party leader Rajendra Lingden appointed Shahi as the Chief Whip according to the statute of the Parliamentary Party.

Also the spokesperson of the party, Shahi was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Jumla.

He defeated his closest contender by a margin of 11, 000 votes.
