Ruling coalition’s victory essential to protect democracy, constitution: PM

NAWALPARASI: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the ruling coalition’s victory is essential in the November 20 elections to protect democracy and the constitution.

Addressing an election gathering held here today, he said that it is necessary for the ruling alliance to emerge victorious in the upcoming polls for economic prosperity and to bring peace and protect the constitution and

“The government to be formed by the coalition after the elections will not dissolve the Parliament but will run the parliament to its full-term,” the Nepali Congress President said.

On that occasion, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal requested voters to vote for the alliance to ensure political stability and development.

The former Prime Minister expressed his commitment to providing political stability in the country through good governance and development.

He made it clear that the government is paying serious attention to establishing a fertilizer production plant to solve the problem of farmers.
