Security tightened in Supreme Court premises today also (With photos)

KATHMANDU: A large number of security personnel have been deployed in the Supreme Court premises today also to prevent “suspended” Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana to enter the apex court.

After the tenure of the Parliament ended without making a decision on the impeachment motion, Chief Justice Rana had planned to return to the Supreme Court on Friday.

But, the government deputed security personnel outside the Supreme Court to stop him from entering the office.

The security personnel were deployed in his residence in Baluwatar also.

Rana was suspended on February 13 following the registration of the impeachment motion against him.
