First meeting of the National Assembly ends, second one on Poush 23

The meeting of the National Assembly, which started on Friday for the first time after the dissolution of the House of Representatives, has ended. The next meeting will be held on Poush 23 at 1 pm.

Leaders of the parties represented in the National Assembly addressed the first meeting of the winter convention held at the International Conference Center in Baneshwor.

In the first meeting of the seventh convention, a condolence resolution was passed paying tribute to the members of the federal parliament and former parliamentarians who passed away after the sixth session.

The President’s letter regarding the convening of the meetings and the letter received from the President’s Office regarding the restructuring of the Council of Ministers were read out by the Speaker of the National Assembly.

Some ordinances were also introduced in the meeting.
