Dahal, Nepal agree to contest upcoming polls with common manifesto

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN (Unified Socialist) have agreed to contest the upcoming federal and provincial elections with a common manifesto.

A meeting between the top leader of the two parties held at Hattiban on Monday took the decision to this effect.

According to Pramesh Hamal, vice chairman of CPN (US), both parties have agreed to take the same initiative in seat distribution while maintaining the alliance.

Similarly, the meeting has also decided to form the unification coordination committee for the unification between the two parties.
