Chopper carrying KP Oli makes emergency landing at Simara Airport

KATHMANDU: A helicopter carrying former Prime Minister CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli made an emergency landing at the Simara Airport on Monday.

Hobindra Bogati, Chief at the District Police Office, Bara, said that Oli was heading towards Rautahat from Kathmandu to take part in a party programme when the chopper made the emergency landing at the Simara Airport due to bad weather.

Oli has headed towards Rautahat after staying at the airport for around 30 minutes.
