Chitra Lekha Yadav appointed chief whip, Min Bishwokarma whip of NC

KATHMANDU : Chitra Lekha Yadav has been appointed as the chief whip of the parliamentary party of Nepali Congress (NC) on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also the President of NC, made the appointment today.

The post of the chief whip had gone vacant after Bal Krishna Khand was appointed as the Home Minister.

Similarly, Min Bishwokarma was appointed to the post of whip.

Yadav has worked as the Treasurer of the party while Bishwakarma is a central member.
