Govt to provide Rs 7 billion loan to NOC

KATHMANDU : The government has decided to provide a loan of Rs 7 billion to the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), which has been facing problems in purchasing petroleum products.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Technology and Government’s Spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said so while announcing the decisions of the Cabinet.

According to Karki, the government decided to provide the loan amount as the NOC has been facing the fund crunch to purchase the petroleum products.
