10 CPN (US) lawmakers demand PP meeting expressing dissatisfaction over proposal to reshuffle ministers

KATHMANDU: At a time when some of the leaders of the party have been expressing their dissatisfaction over the decision to reshuffle the ministers, 10 lawmakers of the CPN (Unified Socialist) handed an application over to Chairman Madhav Nepal demanding to call a Parliamentary Party meeting at the earliest.

It has been said that the ministers participating in the government from the CPN (Unified Socialist) are among the lawmakers who demanded that the party call the meeting as soon as possible.

They had put forth five conditions after the party decided to call them from the government.

According to a source, they urged the party Chairman to call the meeting expressing dissatisfaction over the decision to reshuffle the ministers.

Health Minister Birodh Khatiwada, Urban Development Minister Ram Kumari Jhankri, Tourism Minister Prem Ale and Labour Minister Krishn Kumar Shrestha.

Similarly, Krishna Lal Maharjan, Gopal Bahadur Bam, Bina Devi Budhathoki, Pushpa Kumari Karna Kayastha, Dhan Bahadur Budha and Nira Jairu also signed the application.

In the application, they expressed their grievances saying that the party treated them as the criminals.
