Rabi Lamichhane announces to form new party

KATHMANDU: Former journalist Rabi Lamichhane has announced to form a new political party.

He said so during a programme organised in Rastriya Sabha Griha in the Capital on Tuesday.

“I am ready to form a party which will give a new mandate to the country,” he said.

Even though he held talks with almost all the political parties, Lamichhane said that he decided not to join any of the parties.

He said that the party will carry the agenda of directly elected prime minister and chief minister.
