Five held with around Rs 40 million undeclared money from Nagdhunga
KATHMANDU: Police arrested five persons including four Chinese nationals in possession of around Rs 40 million undeclared money from Nagdhunga of Chandragiri Municipality-2 in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
One of the arrestees has been identified as Nepali national Phul Bahadur Gurung (44) of Bidur Municipality-8,Nuwakot and others are Chinese nationals.
A joint team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Nagdhunga and Narcotics Control Bureau arrested them with Rs 38.89 million from a car (BAB 5790) during a regular security check today. The money was found hidden inside a plastic bag.
Police apprehended them while they were heading towards Kathmandu from Nuwakot this afternoon.
Police said that they are further investigating the case.
