Student unions close to ruling parties stage demonstration against fuel price hike (With photos)

9KATHMANDU: Student unions close to ruling and other political parties picketed the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) against the fuel price hike.

The student unions reached the NOC on Wednesday and picketed the office demanding that the government roll back its decision to jack up the prices of petroleum products.

Student leaders also chanted various slogans against the NOC.

Earlier, the 15 student unions had handed over a letter to Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Dilendra Prasad Badu review the prices of petroleum products l.

Nepali Oil Corporation (NOC) had himes prices of petro products on May 22.
