Renu Dahal leading by 10, 000 votes in Bharatpur Metropolitan City

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) mayoral candidate Renu Dahal is leading the vote by a huge margin in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

Dahal is leading by 10, 000 votes when the vote counting is underway in ward 25 and 26.

She garnered 44, 305 votes against her closest contender Bijay Subedi of CPN-UML who secured 34, 179 votes.

It has been learnt that 110, 454 votes have been counted so far and 127, 839 people have cast their votes. Now, 17, 000 are left to be counted.
