Balen Shah leading by 4, 788 votes in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Independent mayoral candidate Balen Shah is leading the vote count by 4, 788 votes in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

He has obtained 10, 241 votes so far while his closest contender Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML received 5, 453 votes.

Similarly, Srijana Singh of Nepali Congress garnered 4, 742 votes.

The vote counting has been completed in ward 1 and 2 while the vote counting is underway in 3, 4, 5, 6, 31 and 32.
