UML wins in Satyawati Rural Municipality of Gulmi

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has emerged victorious in Satyawati Rural Municipality, Gulmi.

Bhim Prasad Pandey has been elected as the chairman of the rural municipality with 6, 267 votes.

Nirmaya Taramu of UML has been elected as the vice-chairperson of the municipality with 6, 234  votes.

Pandey’s closest contender Parishwor Dhakal of Nepali Congress obtained 5, 611 votes.

Similarly, Taramu’s closest contender Tej Kumari Thapa of Nepali Congress secured 5, 531 votes.
