IED explodes at UML ward chairman candidate’s house in Rupandehi, daughter-in-law critically injured

RUPANDEHI: An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded at the house of a CPN-UML ward chairman candidate in Marchabari Rural Municipality-5, Rupandehi on Friday.

Marchabari UML chairman candidate Kamalesh Yadav said that the IED exploded at the house Somnath Pandey.

Pandey’s daughter-in-law Jayamala Pandey (50) was critically injured in the explosion.

She has been taken to Bhairahawa for treatment.
