NC cadres attack UML cadres in Rupandehi, 2 injured

RUPANDEHI: Nepali Congress cadres attacked CPN-UML cadres at Tilotta in Rupandehi district on Monday.

Sanjeeb Bhandari and Sagar Regmi of Tilotta Municipality-16 were injured in the attack.

A group of local Nepali Congress cadres including Sanjeeb Bhusal, Prabin Khadka, Ishwor KC and Laxman Rana among others attacked them at around 11 pm yesterday.

Bhusal is the son of Nepali Congress ward president candidate Jhabilal Bhusal.

Injured Bhandari is undergoing treatment at the Crimson Hospital in Manigram.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
