NEPSE surges by 5.17 points on Wednesday 

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surges by 5.17 points to close at 2376.17 points on Wednesday.

Similarly, the sensitive index rose 1.61 points to close at 454.56 points.

A total of 2,885,039 units of the shares of 228 companies were traded for Rs 1.08 billion.

Likewise, all the sub-indices saw green except for Banking, Trading, Microfinance and Mutual Fund in today’s market.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalisation stood at Rs 3.38 trillion.

Meanwhile, Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JALPA) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 10 percent. Sanima Equity Fund (SAEF) was the top loser today as its price fell by 3.88 percent.
