NC decides to field Maharjan, Koirala as candidates for Lalitpur and Biratnagar mayor

KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) decided to field Chiribabu Maharjan and Nagesh Koirala as mayoral candidates in Lalitpur and Biratnagar Metropolitan Cities respectively.

Maharjan is the incumbent mayor of Lalitpur.

Similarly, Nagesh Koirala Koirala, who is said to be closed to the Shekhar Koirala faction, received ticket from NC for the post of Biratnagar mayor.
