2 killed, 8 injured in Okhaldhunga jeep accident

OKHALDHUNGA: Two persons died and eight others sustained injuries when a jeep they were travelling on met with an accident near Bhadare river of Manebhanjyang rural municipality-6 in Okhaldhunga on Wednesday.

The identities of the deceased have not been ascertained yet, police said.

The jeep (Ba 16 Cha 1094) was heading towards Biratnagar from Solukhmbu when the incident took place this morning, said the District Police Office, Okhaldhuna.

It has been learnt that all the victims were policemen.

Further details of the incident are yet to come, police said.
