UML Chair Oli criticises EC’s decision to print green ballot papers for local polls

KATHMANDU: The main opposition CPN-UML chairman KP Sharman Oli has criticized the decision of the Election Commission(EC) to print green ballot papers for the upcoming local level elections.

Addressing a programme organised in Ilam on Sunday, Chairman Oli accused the poll body of making a decision to print ballot papers of green colour similar to that of the Nepali Congress(NC) election symbol.

He also expressed concern over the two days deadline given by EC  to file candidacy for the local level elections.
