President Bhandari prorogues Parliament session

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari prorogued the ongoing session of the Federal Parliament effective from Tuesday midnight.

She prorogued the session on the recommendation of the government.

A Cabinet meeting held earlier in the day  had recommended President Bhandari to end the current session of the Parliament.

The 10th session of the Parliament that began on December 14, 2021 held for 92 days.
