NEPSE drops 17.15 points on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged 17.15 points to close at 2650.97 points on Tuesday.

Similarly, the sensitive index fell 7.26 points to close at 502.59 points.

A total of 6,529,026 units of the shares of 229 companies were traded for Rs 3.36 billion.

Likewise, all the sub-indices saw red except for the Hotel and Tourism, Non-Life Insurance, Life Insurance and Mutual Fund in today’s market.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3.75 trillion.

Meanwhile, Emerging Nepal Limited (ENL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 9.98 percent. Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) was the top loser today as its price fell by 5.13 percent.
