PM Deuba urges construction entrepreneurs of Nepal to take part in global tender of MCC (With video)
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba appealed to all the construction entrepreneurs of the country to take part in the global tender for the construction of infrastructure under the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
Addressing the general assembly of the Federation of Construction Entrepreneurs on Friday, he said that there is an obligation to announce the global tender as per the US law.
He also urged the construction entrepreneurs of Nepal to participate in the tender.
“There will be a global bidding in the MCC. Construction entrepreneurs of Nepal should also take part in the bidding. I will be very happy if they participate in the bidding,” the Prime Minister said.
Prime Minister Deuba said that the government has also amended the Public Procurement Regulations among others for the convenience of construction entrepreneurs.
