Gold price drops by Rs 3,500 on Thursday 

KATHMANDU: The price of gold plummeted by Rs 3,500 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday.

With the drop in the price, the precious yellow metal is now being traded as Rs 102,000 per tola today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the bullion was traded at Rs 105,000 per tola on Wednesday, which was the highest price recorded in the Nepali market so far.

Similarly, the price of tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 101,500 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 105,000 on Wednesday.

Likewise, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 45 per tola today and is being traded at Rs 1,405 tola.

Earlier, it was traded at Rs 1,450 per tola.
