Actor Paul Shah remanded in police custody for 12 days

KATHMANDU : The District Court Tanahun has remanded actor Paul Shah, who was arrested on the rape charge, in police custody for 12 days for investigation.

Earlier, he was remanded in police custody for seven days.

Singer Samikshya Adhikari (17) had filed a rape against Shah in the District Police Office, Tanahaun.

He had been absconding after the complaint was registered against him.

Adhikari registered the complaint accusing Shah of raping her with a promise to marry her in future.

Recently, an audio having a conversation between actor Paul and singer Adhikari was leaked on social media where Shah has accepted having sex with Adhikari.

However, actor Shah through his Facebook had said that some of his friends are involved in tarnishing his image.

Actor Sah turned himself in to police on February 27.
