Communist parties continue protests against MCC (With photos)

KATHMANDU: Cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) along with six communist parties staged demonstrations in various parts of the Capital against the tabling and ratification of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) today as well.

They took out rallies in Maitighar, Kupandole, Tripureshwor and Durbarmarg today.

CPN (Revolutionary Maoist), CPN (Masal), Nepal Communist Party, Rastriya Janamorcha among others are against the agreement of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Earlier on February 27, the second meeting of the House of Representatives ratified the $500 million grant compact with an interpretative declaration.
