Rastriya Janamorcha decides to pull out of ruling coalition
KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Janamorcha has decided to pull out of the ruling coalition.
The Jamorcha decided to leave the coalition a day after the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) was endorsed from the Parliament.
The coalition has five parties including the Rastriya Janamorcha. Janamorcha has one lawmaker in the Parliament.
A secretariat meeting of the party held on Monday decided to leave the coalition, party Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC said.
“The secretariat meeting of the party held today decided to pull out of the coalition after the government endorsed the MCC,” Chairman KC said.
The second meeting of the Parliament held on Sunday ratified the $500 million grant compact with interpretative declaration.
