MCC to be presented in Parliament for discussions tomorrow

KATHMANDU: The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), which was tabled in the Parliament, will be taken for discussions on Thursday.

 The Federal Parliament Secretariat said that the MCC will be presented in the Parliament for discussions tomorrow.

 Minister for Finance Janardan Sharma will present the proposal for the same.

 Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki on behalf of the Finance Minister Sharma tabled the $500 million compact was tabled in Parliament on Sunday.

 Meanwhile, Speaker Agni Sapkota has called the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee for tomorrow.

 It has been learnt that the meeting will dwell on how to take the MCC ahead.
