Cadres of various political parties clash with police personnel in New Baneshwor (With photos)

KATHMANDU: Cadres of various political parties clashed with police personnel at New Baneshwor in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Sister organisations of the CPN (Maoist Centre) staged a demonstration against the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) this afternoon.

Police personnel used water cannons to disperse the agitating mob. Some demonstrators and  journalist were injured in the clash.

The cadres staged demonstrations in various parts of the Capital like Maitighar, Babarmahal, New Baneshwar and Minbhawan today against the MCC.
