3 killed, 3 injured as boulder hits moving jeep in Okhaldhunga

KATHMANDU: Three persons died on the spot and three others sustained injures when a boulder hit a moving jeep at Siddhicharan Municipality -3 in Okhaldhunga on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Yushab Shrestha (10) of Siddhicharan municipality-1 Taluwa, Yunisha Koirala (7) and Hem Magar (30) of Manebhanjyang rural municipality-1. 

The jeep (Ko 1 Ja 3569)  was heading towards Okhaldhunga from Moli when the incident occurred at around 8 am today, said the District Police Office, Okhaldhunga.

Similarly, the three injured including the driver have been rushed to Okhaldhunga Community Hospital Mission for treatment. 

Police said that they are looking into the case.
