Suwal demands to recall Nepal’s envoy to India Shankar Sharma

KATHMANDU: Nepal Workers and Peasants Party lawmaker Prem Suwal has demanded to recall proposed Nepali Ambassador to India Shankar Sharma.

Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Suwal demanded that Sharma be recalled at the earliest saying that he supported the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) project at a time when it had not been tabled at the Parliament.

The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) had recently endorsed the name of Sharma for Nepal’s Ambassador to India.
