All-party meeting begins sans CPN-UML at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: An all-party meeting called by Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has started in Baluwatar without the main opposition CPN -UML on Sunday.

Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center, CPN(Unified Socialist), Janata Samajbadi Party, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party( Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party) and  Rastriya Janamorcha leaders have attended the meeting.

The meeting has been convened to discuss the issue of ongoing House obstruction and the ratification of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Earlier, leaders of the ruling coalition had held a discussion with Prime Minister Deuba at Baluwatar in an effort to forge a common view on the issue to be presented at the all-party meeting.
