Maoist Centre leader Pun taken to China for further treatment

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) leader and former minister Barsha Man Pun has been taken to Shenzhen, China for treatment.

Pun, who had been undergoing treatment at the Bangkok-based Samitivej Hospital for jaundice and liver-related diseases for the past one-and-half-month, has been taken to China for further treatment.

He will receive treatment at the Third People’s Hospital in Shenzhen.  Pun was accompanied by his wife Onsari Gharti Magar and daughter Sheela.

Santosh Pun, personal secretary of Pun, said that they have already left Bangkok for Shenzhen. Pun was taken to China as per the suggestion of doctors.
