UML leader Rawal announces candidacy for party chair

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal on Sunday announced his candidacy for the post of party chairman at the party’s upcoming general convention.

Party Vice-Chairman Rawal made such announcement by organising a press conference this afternoon.

He decided to announce his candidacy against party Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the upcoming general convention saying that the party leadership failed to keep to the party unity intact and did not show sincerity in implementing the 10-point agreement.

The 10th general convention of the main opposition CPN-UML is going to be held in Chitwan on November 26-28.
