CPN-UML to hold its 10th general convention in Chitwan

KATHMANDU: The main opposition CPN-UML has decided to hold its 10th general convention in Chitwan.

A Standing Committee meeting of the party held on  Thursday decided to hold the 10th general convention in Chitwan from November 26-28.

Earlier, the party had decided to hold its general convention in Butwal.

A 21-member convention management committee has been formed under Standing Committee member Ram Bahadur Thapa aka Badal to organise the general convention.

According to party spokesperson Pradeep Gyawali, Yogesh Bhattarai, Surendra Pandey, Kasinath Adhikari, Rajan Bhattarai, Binod Shrestha, Sita Paudel, Ananda Pokharel, Kapil Pokharel, Krishna Bhakta Pokharel and Parbati Rawal are in the committee.
