Govt announces relief to families of those killed in road accidents and free treatment of injured

KATHMANDU: The government has announced proper relief to the families of those killed in road accidents in Mugu, Kaski and Achham and free treatment of the injured.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said on Twitter that the government’s attention has been drawn to the recent road accidents.

The Prime Minister has urged for regular testing and maintenance of the private and public vehicles to minimise road accidents.

Prime Minister Deuba also urged the bus drivers not to carry the passengers more than the capacity and adopt safety measures.

The Prime Minister also expressed grief over the loss of lives in road accidents.
