NC reshuffles election schedule; to hold local level convention before Dashain

KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has reshuffled the schedule of local and regional conventions.

An office bearers meeting the party held at Singhadurbar on Wednesday decided to hold village and ward level conventions before Dashain, party senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel said.

Earlier, the party had decided to hold its local level convention on September 25.

Now, the party has decided to hold ward convention till September 25 and to hold village and municipal conventions before Dashain, Paudel said.

The party has decided to hold the provinces and federal electoral constituencies after Dashain.
