BJP leader Chauthaiwale meets UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: Foreign Affairs Department Chief of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of India Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale held a meeting with the main opposition CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Monday.

During the meeting, the duo discussed matters related to mutual interest and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Leader Chauthaiwale, who came to Kathmandu at the invitation of the ruling Nepali Congress, is scheduled to meet senior leaders of various parties today. Earlier on Sunday evening, he paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at the latter’s official residence in Baluwatar.

It has been learnt that he will take part in a programme organised by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), sister organisation of Bharatiya Janata Party, in Kathmandu today.
