Jagman Gurung to support RPP’s protest Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Samyukta Janaandolan Samiti has extended support to the protest of Rastriya Prajatantra Party for the restoration of monarchy.

Issuing a statement on Sunday, Committee’s Acting Coordinator Jagman Gurung has also appealed to the people to actively participate in the protest of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).

The RPP is holding an assembly at Bhrikutimandap on Tuesday with the slogan “Let’s change the system to change the situation”.

The Committee has extended support to the programme.

According to the statement, Gurung has called on all the citizens to participate in the programme with the national flag.

Earlier, the Committee had also extended support to the protest led by Durga Prasain on March 28.

The RPP had also supported and participated in the protest.

Though the pro-monarchy forces have been supporting each-others program, they have not been able to come together and hold a joint protest.
