Hitendra Dev Shakya appointed as NEA chief

KATHMANDU: The government has appointed Hitendra Dev Shakya as the Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority.

A Cabinet meeting held on Monday appointed Shakya as the NEA chief by removing Kulman Ghising, a minister said.

Shakya had previously served as the director of NEA when KP Sharma Oli was the Prime Minister.
