Government committed to conclude remaining task of peace process: PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government is committed to conclude the remaining task of the peace process.

Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives, the Prime Minister said that he is trying to contact the leaders of the main opposition parties to finalise the appointment process of the Commission of Inquiry into Enforced Disappearances and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission at the earliest.

“I am still trying to contact the leader of the main opposition party Pushpa Kamal Dahal to iron out the issue. The task will be taken ahead once he comes into contact,” PM Oli said.

Maoist Centre Chairman Dahal is currently in Bara for the party campaign.
