Earthquake of 6.1 magnitude hits Sindhupalchowk

KATHMANDU: An earthquake measuring 6. 1 on the Richter scale struck Sindhupalchowk district on Friday morning.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre (NEMRC), the tremor was recorded at 2. 51 am with its epicentre at Bhairab Kunda of the district.

The tremor was also felt in Kathmandu.
