Prakriti Lamsal’s final rites performed

BHAIRAHAWA: Prakriti Lamsal, who was found dead at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, India, was cremated at Swargadwari Ghat.

Her body was taken to Swargadwari funeral site after circumambulating in Bhairahawa.

Nepali students studying in KIIT from Siddharthanagar were also present in the funeral procession. His grandfather Devnath Lamsal had lit fire in the pyre.

Her body was brought from Odisha on Wednesday. Lamsal, who was born in Bhairahawa on June 18, 2004, passed away on February 16 (Sunday).

Her body was found hanging in the KIIT hostel.
