PM Oli to address Parliament on first day of winter session
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is to address the Parliament on the first day of the winter session.
President Ram Chandra Paudel, on the recommendation of the Cabinet meeting, had called the winter session on January 31.
CPN-UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula informed that Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to address the Parliament on that day.
“The Prime Minister will address the Parliament on the first day. The Speaker had met Prime Minister Oli today itself. The Speaker had informed us during the meeting that the Prime Minister will address the Parliament. The decision will be made in the next meeting,” he said.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire had already held a discussion with the chief whips of ruling parties about the winter session.
Similarly, he will hold a meeting with the chief whips of opposition parties today itself.
