All should be alert to protect political achievements: Chair Dahal
CHITWAN: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that everyone should raise their voices from their respective places to protect the various political achievements.
Addressing the golden jubilee ceremony of Someshwar Secondary School in Madi, Chitwan, Chair Dahal stressed that everyone’s concern should be to protect the Constitution, inclusiveness and federalism.
He said that the government should convene the regular House and bring the bill. “It is not appropriate to avoid the House and issue the ordinance”, said Dahal. He alleged that the government had brought an ordinance against the spirit of the Constitution and democracy.
Former Prime Minister Dahal urged the government to work in line with the constitution and democracy.
On another note, he said that the efforts of parents, peoples’ representatives and teachers are needed to improve the educational quality of community schools.
Bagmati Province Assembly Member Thakur Dhakal, Madi Municipality Chief Tarakumari Kaji Mahato, School Management Committee Chairman Lekh Bahadur Gurung and others expressed their opinions in the programme.
