DP Aryal appointed as Acting President of RSP

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party has given the responsibility of Acting President to Deputy Vice President DP Aryal.

A Secretariat meeting of the party held on Monday decided to give the responsibility of Acting President to Aryal after the cases were registered against President Rabi Lamichhane.

The District Government Attorney Office in Kaski on Sunday had filed cases of cooperatives fraud, organized crime and money laundering at the district court against Lamichhane.

The District Police Office, Kaski had also sent a letter to the Parliament Secretariat to suspend Lamichhane from the post of lawmaker after the cases were filed against him.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire, however, has not made any decision on the issue yet.
