State Minister Bam among three injured in car accident in India

KAILALI: Three persons including Finance State Minister of Sudurpaschim Province Prakash Bam were injured when a car they were travelling in met with an accident in India.

The incident occurred when the car (Pradesh 3-01-024) hit an Indian vehicle near Paliya Bazaar, India.

State Minister Bam, his wife Kalpana Bam and associate Padam Deuba were injured in the accident, Inspector Darshan Khadka of the District Police Office, Kailali informed.

They are being treated at the Dhangadhi-based Nisarga Hospital.

The incident took place when they were returning home after receiving treatment at Paliya Bazaar, Khiri District, India, Dhan Bahadur Bam, Minister Bam’s nephew, informed.
